  • Thanks dmhc

Just a post to say thanks to the dmhc for having there flyin today.
    Was a great day.
Some excellent flying and after the initial showers passed the sun came out.
Shame to see one 550 being plucked out the hegde and it had hit a fence post, there wasn't much left of it.
A couple of very nice scale helis too.
Flight of the day for me was Dave L with his 700e, superb flight.
Back home with all my helis in one piece bar a loose exhaust and charging up ready if I am allowed out to play tomorrow.
Only other downer was hearing of the red arrow that crashed just a few miles away

Excellent event, rain at the start followed by glorious sun shine.

The 550 that went in was unfortunately mine .... unfortunately it was very badly damaged - so much so that I took everything off of it at the field, I took some pics but haven't looked at them or what's left of the 550 since - When I pick up the courage I'll post them here.

It was the most spectacularly terrible crash I've ever had, well at least I did it in style, still it's nothing compared to the Red Arrows crash today, and I really hope the pilot got out OK.

Thanks guys for a great event and I look forward to the next one.

    Cheers,
    Simon

It was a brilliant day,it was great to see all that attended, great to see Mark with his Sniper and coming on well with the helis.

Massive thanks to James for helping set up the Castle 80hv esc on our new member Marks new 600e Pro,that setup routine went right over my head for sure.

Sorry to see Simons 550 go in too

I think there might be some pics and video going up,shot from Pauls quad copter camera platorm that flies itself with GPS,wicked piece of kit.

Great effort by Mike and Adrian with all the setup, and the BBQ,and I am glad the weather improved as the day went on.

thanks to all, extrememly upsetting to hear about the Red Arrows crash though.

Had an amazing day seeing some good friends again always well worth the drive down here.
Big thank you to all at DMHC for putting on a great day. Food was as nice as ever Adrian.
Some awsome flying allround, James quite litterally punishing his Protos, flasher and outrage. Dave with his 550 and 700 looking silky smooth and Chris flying his logo 600 with style.
Have to say a huge thanks to Mike, Adrian and Lee for the help getting my NSP working right with my gov. Goto say how blown away I am by how your all flying since I left!
Thanks Chris for the kind comment, still feel in a much lower league than all you lads.
Really looking forward to the next time I manage to make it down this way to see you all again : )

Sorry for the late reply guys but I don't frequent this forum much these days. Glad you all enjoyed yourselves and that the weather finally improved by lunch. Sorry about the 550 Simon. I enjoyed the day too and managed to get a few flights in between the cooking.
Thanks James, Simon and everyone else that made the trip down.
Will try and organise another next year.

You're all most welcome and glad to hear that you had an enjoyable day.
It was a real shame to see your 550E in such a mess after your in Simon.
Thank you to everyone that made it down and hope to see you all again at the next one.
For those who couldn't make it, hope to see you maybe next time guys.
                All the best,
                Mike.
