Hi,
I strapped my new HK Wing Cam to the AR Drone and shot a little bit of footage to test out the cam. Not 100% happy with the footage as it appears a little wavey. I would welcome feedback on what might be wrong with the cam or whether I just need to get a better one.
The AR Drone has been modified so that it is controlled by my DX8. I love this mod since it gives you total flexibility since the source code for the mod is available and you can configure it to do whatever you want.
The RC mod lets my son use the AR Drone without fear of him crashing. When you start up the Drone it lifts itself to 1m and then just hangs there. You can configure how aggressive you want the controls and set a ceiling height. The Drone itself has 2 on board cams and these stream live video to an iPhone, iPod, iPad or Android device. You can select which cam to observe or record.
Your comments would be most welcome (I know that I have not set the date!!).
Oh yes, one question .. how do you make the video inline?
