buy a logo 600se and for a additional tail boom, belt and minor other items you could change it to a 6003d very easily and fly a 50 size machine or keep it streched for a 90 size, just some different options

To be honest mine wasn't that bad, it's just hard for me as I don't have many funds to fix these larger helis.. And Mikado parts are not too expensive but are built to last if you don't crashOriginally posted by sacko View Post..but how well do Logos stand up in a crash?
The latest two crashes I have read about on here (Tims and Laurences) looked almost a complete write off.
Definitely see where Ben is coming from, I never felt 100% comfortable with my Srimok as they are too nice to put in, and not the cheapest to repair.... But what 90 is.

Frames were only just gone, I think I have fixed one side so kept that as spare. Tail boom, main shaft, main shaft bearings, all bearings in the head, blades, belt, main gear, swash links (had to get a new version in the end), a few links, carbon pushrod and my fave canopy

I think you'll find any heli this size going in like mine did would have the same damage.
Luckily the ESC and batts were just fine!!
Crash damage is based on how early you hit throttle hold and auto down (if you can haha), I just managed to but I was distracted... Any other time I would just hit throttle hold up high and normally with any heli you can just get away with broken blades / tail boom.Last edited by LaurenceGough; 19-08-2011, 02:04 PM.

ok If were talking crash damage , then my Rave ENV was top of the pile , he (Dave) went in from 40ft IN throttle hold and was destroyed
I stopped adding up the cost at £400 
Would I have another ,......yes I did thanks to a kind forum member .
But the logo would be a very close 2nd

I don't mind taking a risk, heck we're flying helis
. But some people do go ahead and add a strong support for under the lipo, maybe this will help it in a crash... I always add a layer of plexiglass or carbon fibre above my batts so that the main shaft and motor pinion do not penetrate the pack causing a fire in a bad crash, to me this is worth the small weight penalty

I was pretty impressed with the frame strength, my break away nylon skid bolts did as they are supposed too, the only damage was where the tail boom was whacked causing a bit of plastic to be damaged, like I said I repaired one side with only cosmetic damage in that area but the other side needs more work... Why take a chance just buy a new one...

Compass 7hv? Out soon and one was clocked at 120mph in standard trim! I have only had exp of my 6hv and it seems to impress veterans were ever I got and fly. I guess the 12 cell setup would be a problem though.Tom

Well I'm not likely to be trying new moves on the 90, I've got the 600 and TT360 for trying new stuff and then once I'm comfortable I can do them on the 90. It's probably going be be a bit like a Sunday best heli

it instantly caught fire. Even with his attempts to remove the Lipos and someone running
