I bought this transmitter for only £70, i personally thought this was very good as the transmitter looks very high spec. Lol I was just actually wandering though were my assumptions right and was it a good buy? also i have just been quoted on a different post that it is a trust Field Force 7 what does this actually mean?? I have posted a picture of the transmitter below.... Oh i also got a aluminium case for the transmitter on. For £70!!!

I sold mine for a little less - that's the old version. The new version is only £99 new.

    Still - it's a nice transmitter.

    Cheers - Rob

PS. Did I say 'Trust' ;-) I meant trusty, as in reliable... decent bit of kit.

Meant to say earlier, good heli transmitter, but one big thing missing - it won't mix CCPM! So you can't fly a T-Rex CCPM etc. with it - just heli's with separate pitch, and cyclic servos.

A little tricky to program, so hope you have the manual. There is also a book available on programming it, from the model books series - available through Traplet publishing etc.

I only sold my FF7 as I needed CCPM capability. If it were not for that, I probably owuld still have it today

      Cheers - Rob

The newer FF7 (with jog dial programming) does CCPM mixing.

Yes it does - maybe I should have mentioned that.

PS. do you definitely fly right hand throttle? I believe it can be swapped over if you're the other mode. If you're right handed, I'd suggest left hand throttle...

Maybe paid a little over the odds there i had one and sold it for alot less, not a bad Tx but as said you cant mix ccpm and fairly limited to what you can do with it but still its a good make and will go for years

I would always suggest Mode 2 (throttle left stick) for heli flying - then all cyclics are on the right stick... much easier.

              Cheers,

I do use left hand throttle at the moment and this is what i feel most comfortably with. And i have also heard that you can change it from right hand to left hand by just making a few adjustments and swapping a few things over!
