KONTRONICS Jazz 40-6-18 governor mode & mx-12 ?

When using the KONTRONICS Jazz 40-6-18 in governor mode I have to set all my Graupner mx12 (35 mhz transmitter) normal & stunt 5 point throttle curves at nearly 0 (zero) flat (otherwise the red ESC lights shows UP)

Note: For throttling UP I'm using the mx-12 throttle trim slider.

I'm fairly sure that the Red LED light comes on when it's working properly?
I'm just so used to not worrying about anything with that ESC on that I don't actually recall...

Check your setup using this article on trextuning, make sure you reset your end points (channel 1 on JR or 3 on Futaba for throttle) and then put a flat line throttle curve in.

My throttle curves are:

Normal: 0-85-85-85-85
Idle1: 95-95-95-95-95
Idle2: 100-100-100-100-100

The Jazz ESC does not need any overhead for the governor to work properly (unlike most other ESCs) - so there's no need to reduce the top end idleup setting to allow some headroom.

Red LED on while the motor is running indicates ESC at full throttle, if you look through the instructions and set it back to default (mode 1 I think) it auto calibrates the throttle range, after that you can program it back into the mode you had it in.
