Hello......Anyone on here fly up near feltham, at hanworth park? I really need somewhere to fly tomorrow.... ;(

I fly there occassionally, but it's mainly plank flyers !

I used to fly both heli and plank there and you don't have to be a member of the HAMFC to fly, it's open to all but with less hours than HAMFC if flying nitro. Electric is unlimited flying hours. The main problem with what could be a superb site is the public who walk up and across the strip occasionally ignoring warning shouts from the members etc...

I think the nitro hours are 10:00 till 13:00 on weekends and poss tue & thu afternoons...

Seem to remember most heli only pilots started going to little harlington, but I never made it there and don't know exactly where it is...

Ffs!! It's so difficult finding somewhere to fly! My Heli is sitting on the shelf ready to go but nowhere to fly...... This will kill my enthusiasm for the hobby at this rate! ;(

I won't be there as I am on holiday but there are quite a few if our members on RCHA.

As per my logo, Kempton Park 5 mins from Hanworth, but we are full at the moment.

As mentioned anyone can fly at Hanworth but you are restricted with Nitro something like 10am - 2pm but it varies look up their website, members get to fly a wee bit longer. If you go, suggest you have someone else with you who can spot for you and warn of public & dogs.

the field is between pirbright and frimley green. think the road is called gapemouth rd.
