i have a pro-peak constellation and an EQ-6+ balancer. problem im having is i have just built a 450 so need to charge the batterys. but just tried conecting the charger up and the balance leads on the battery doesnt match the balance board plugs on the EQ-6+ can i get more boards for it? do they need to be specific to the balancer or would any do? i have the following balance boards TP adapter and PQ adapter.

You'll need to buy an adapter or make one up yourself. There are several different connectors. If you want a quick fix you could just solder an extension lead to your balancer. If not just have a look at the different types and buy one that looks right. JSTXH is the most common now. If you have difficulty just take photos of the plugs and someone will give you a link to what you need. I'd solder a balance extension lead to the board.

sorry to seem a bit dumb but could you give me some pointers on doing this? what wire do i attach to what? on the balance lead coming out of the balancer i have are all black bar for 1 which is red, the plug that goes into the balance board is labled 1-7 pin 7 being red, i am going to have a guess is pin 1 cell 1 2-2 etc? but what is the red? and what wires do i conect to what on the lipo? the lipo has a red,blue,yellow and black wire on the balance plug in that order.proud owner of 1 EGS sigpic
