OK just been messing about with the 500, Now got ESC programmed and ready to go, when i push forward (elevator) what direction should my swash move ? i have set it up to go forward. but the heli wants to tilt right and if i push right it tilts forward. i have not take off yet as this is obviously not right

You definitely got the servos plugged in the correct ports?

    ..the swash should move forward.

If you're sat looking at the heli from the back the swash should tilt the same way you move the stick.

If your standing behind your machine the swash will react as your thumb dos on the cyclic (right stick) IE if you push forward it will tilt forward back it will tilt back etc. You've defo got something wrong, plugged in the wrong channels. Make sure with the BeastX that the swash type is set to 1 servo.

The swash behaves as it would do if it was a fb model the difference comes when tilt the model you will see the swash move on its own to compensate for movement of the heli and acts like hh gyro does on the tail just in the head.
