Anyone live in Swindon and commute closer to London or vice versa?

I'm just thinking out loud here. I recently won an Ebay auction for
something that is located in Swindon and is collection only

I know that if a better option doesn't come along I can get out there
but it's a long old train journey from here (South London). So I'm just thinking,
if perhaps someone here travels frequently out that way and back
and could maybe collect this thing I could meet up somewhere enroute?

That is an option but I had two Robbe canopies get damaged in the post and I just couldn't bear
to have that happen again. I think I'd just as soon take the train over there than risk posting it.
