250 frames

after a accident with my 250 when the throtle stuck full on ,it caught my shoulder, and took out a large lump of fur. painful but the heli came off worst. the top frame snaped off braking off the motor mount and the front belt drive ,trashed the head so i decided to build a new heli with a two piece frame from infinity hobby08042005(004).jpgstill need to put the electrics in ,the two piece frames are realy well made ,solid 08042005.jpgthe motor mount is c/f and is solid . the old heli is still repairable but its allways useful for spares (had enough to build the new heli with) .....mick08042005(005).jpg

Thats interesting the New frame looks good,
I think though that I need the extra width for my RC gear though.

It would probably be ideal for a flybarless setup where the FBL unit mounts vertical.

theres room on the sides to fit stuff . got fbl to go on at sometime. stuff all the wires inside but in a hard landing it stays in one piece unlike the 4 piece frames.....mick

I'm so glad I don't have my 250 anymore! Waaaay too small! Bits were always stripping and breaking!

i love the heli ,when its flying its a real buzzz (worth all the hassle)...mick
