I don't see the point in upgrading if the stock item is good enough. I'd only ever use upgrades if I thought that it would improve the flying performance considerably and as I'm not yet anywhere near skilfull enough to use the stock heli to its maximum I won't be upgrading for a while. I would consider upgrades which make the heli more practical like larger skids or parts to make orientation a little easier. Another upgrade would be the blades as I can understand how different people prefer the 'feel' of certain blades as opposed to others. There are also situations where there are known weeknesses in OE kit parts which make sense to upgrade.

very rare that i ever mod any of my helis unless nessasary, not in to bling as it is pointless.
The only mod on my 700 is a boom brace so if a bolt comes loose the support won't go up in to the blades

                    Stock for my Logo.

Some mods needed for my 450 pro, but standard parts.

As for the mCPX again just mods.

stock untill it goes in.!! then i replace with upgrades or better components as you HAVE to buy to replace so might aswell spend a little extra on upgraded items.

My 450 is stock with the exception of a KDE battery extension to help prevent me 'taco'ing my packs on impact... upgrades are only worth the investment if they represent real improvements (unless you like bling and have money to spend on it...)

Gave up the bling when I realised how often they go in., now just upgrades that are actually going to cure a problem.

I think on my LE the only upgrades ive done are to change the tail bolts
                            All the best

When i break stock clutches i replace with quickuk or lynx.
Button head bolts on t-rex get replaced with proper hex allen ones.

I dont upgrade for the sake of it now, just when parts break or cause a problem.
