i was invited to italy back in September, turned out work couldn't let me go such short notice but i was actually glad to get out of going on the plane. i could do that helicopter ride you did though thats a buzz.

i just flown from heathrow to my house in derby using the google earth flight sim thingy. took off from heathrow headed northish, found the m1 and followed it untill i cam to the a52 where i hung a left. followed the a52 untill i sawn the a5111 ring road, left down the slip road and into alvaston derby. few circuits round my house and by that time i had enough and switched it off. i should of turned around and landed at eastmidlands airport
              cheers

Just bear in mind to go the full-hog and gain your PPL, you're looking in the region of £20k as I mentioned before.

Mind you, one heli pilot I know jacked in a very lucrative job to do his training, and now with a commercial ticket, he earns even more.

5 and the bonus out of Guinevere and I'd probably sign up for some lessons

                Cheers - Rob
Don't the septics do something in the USA for a lot cheaper like they do for a fixed wing PPL ?

go into the free google earth - click on the earth - then press ctrl&alt&a together and the flight simulator options will come uo. once you have been on it once the simulator will be in tools. you can fly a f16 jet or a double engine prop powered plane
