ripmax wot 4

just to break up the heli flying day my son bought me a new ripmax wot 4 foame,well its had about 6 flights in 2 days,nice and steady under the instruction of uncle albert,club flying ace!!,flying it on thursday afternoon first of all the rudder departed from it whilst in flight & then the aelerons parted company from the plane,thus the inevitable crash happened.
bit miffed as its brand new.
has this happened to anyone else flying these wot 4 foames ???.

ps was not flying like some demented fool on speed.

I have seen a few arround and been flown to there limits so i am supprised to hear that this happened. so could be a dodgy batch .ask them to send you a replacement.

I fly mine with maximum throws, and really give it a work out. Its been smashed into goal posts, and had the undercarriage ripped off after trying to fly under a trampoline, and still it flies!! Even better with no undercarriage on

Never had a porblem with mine, it is my first plane and has taken a few knocks but flys a treat. Some of the 3D guys at my club have thrashed it to its limit and it is just fine.

Hate to suggest it, but the hinges were glued in weren't they ? I had a Super Chipmunk that came out of the box with one elevator hinged and glued, the other no hinges ! Bummer.

Both mine & my friends have been fine. If you fancy something different to fly which flies extremely well and is a little different look at the Multiplex Fun-Cub, the wheels are amazing and with flaps fitted it's STOL as well.
