I've learnt a fair bit of control with mine. The MCPx is all over the place since it gets moved about a lot so you learn to compensate quickly. That then translates into a much more locked in flight on the bigger helis. I'm learning nose in on it and can hold it roughly where I want it nose in now. I'm still finding it difficult on the bigger stuff though but I think that's because I'm trying it too high and need to have the balls to try nose in at a lower height.

After 3 flights in the small back garden, in and out of the washing line poles and garden furniture I took it to the field. Did some loops, flips and then inverted. Flew it around and hovered nose in 2 ft from my nose. Found it easier (better) to roll out rather than flip or loop out. I then transposed this onto my Trex 600E. Albiet NOT with the inverted nose in 2 ft from my nose.
Been there and done that, but never stop learning. Now too many Helis to mention?
do you think that what you learn on the mcpx will carry over on to the bigger helis ,?
I can do half piro flips on mcpx 1.5 meter from the ground. On my bigger ones I can't, not even close. Reason is: completely different flight characteristics and fear.
Personally I think mcpx as learning aid is overrated. I learned much more on the simulator. Mcpx is fun toy though.
Guy learnt a pathological hatred of the MCPX and I bet he reads this with boiling blood
lol
To be honest it's one of the things I've learned & carried over onto bigger helis. Without the MCPX I could never have achieved the levels of venomous hatred I harbour toward my Velocity 50!
