The Honeybee king 2 I bought and had a load of problems with is now getting returned , After explaining that i had showed a expert (Lee) my Heli and that there was digital servos and analoge servos on and that one was damaged he tried to dispute this, but after speaking to some of the lads from his club who confirmed this he has now agreed to take it back ,

So i now have about £250 to spend on a heli , So bearing in mind its my first heli and need something good to learn on but after a good size 600/50 size if poss ,

If anyone can help it would be appriciated

Not really, you may find a rappy 30 second hand for that money but then you will need starter etc.

If i were in your shoes i'd think about a trex 450 sport

I should think you wont get much more than a 400 size for that kind of money, for a decent 600 you need to be adding at least another £200 / £300 to that £250.
i am buying a Compass HV6 this weekend for £350.00 and thats dirt cheap, but i still need to get servos and Blades so i expect to shell out another £200 at least, and then start to build it and most likely spend out another £100 / £150 to replace bits i'm not happy with to make it fly tight.

I'm not trying to put you off just if you want a decent heli you have to be realistic about the costs of what you what or you could end up with a Honeybee king 2... sorry could not resist the pun bud

Flog that fishing gear mate, then get yourself about £500. I get the impression you really want to get into the hobby so for £500 I reckon you could get a DX7 plus a second hand .50, or a new clone.

Don't forget as well, you'll need a starter, fuel, charger etc. You're welcome to use my starter etc at the field, but it's always best to have your own as well.

DX7 would set you back about £200. You don't strictly need the 7th channel, but most use a governor to manage the throttle RPM which needs a 7th channel to remotely manage the RPM. If you plan to get an electric .50, then a DX6 would suffice, but then you're going to need an expensive charger/power supply.

There was a dx7 on bmfa like brand new for £95 or trex 500esp with dx7se for £350 now that is a good deal.
