Mine on Sat - I'd go for the cheaper one with G10 frames and belt drive as if you have any 'dinks' then you will have to keep buying tail drive rods, and I'm not really sure the 'pro' is really worth the extra.

      Happy birthday Thomas & Randall.

Mine is on Monday too. I've already had a Hyper and 9254 for it

I'd have to agree with Thomas.
The 600n performs equally as well as the 600n Pro.
The belt drive seems to work fine and should be able to take more knocks on the tail blades before causing any damage than the shaft drive would.

I have the 600n Pro, Dave has the 600n and Dean has the 600n with Shaft drive upgrade (covering all three options in effect) and they all work very well. None made from Cheese, Putty or any other material of similar nature!

They are easy to work on, they have pretty low parts counts (less to go wrong etc) and are a joy to fly.

From a beginners perspective, it will work fine for you and will cost little long term as spares pricing is excellent and availability is also excellent.

          Cheers,
          Rob

Cheers Lee, Happy birthday for Monday.

I hear all these problems with the 600n and with the exception of a warped fan, only a problem if you use a gov, I've not have on single issue. Every time I take it out I come home and check the one way bearing and that's still fine. I love this mine, a joy to own and a joy to fly - buy one and enjoy it.

I can't say the same, unfortunately.
Dave's one way bearing (sleeve?) is a swine for sticking, although he's thinking that it's to do with hitting the high headspeed too fast after spooling up causing it to lock up. Doing this a bit slower (letting each headspeed phase of spoolup breathe for a few seconds first) seems to have stopped it happening - at least for a couple of flights yesterday anyway.

Both Dave and Dean have both had governor magnets come out of the plastic fans - they are crap if you want to run a governor. If not, it probably works just fine. If you want to run a governor, buy a metal fan. The G force fans work well. Align are releasing their own in the near future too.

Dave has had some issues with clutches, down to the thickness (or trather, thinness) of the clutch liner - it's a bit too thin which means the clutch arms have to over reach to bite on the liner/bell and as such he has fractured two or three to date. With a Vibe 90 clutch liner (the cheapest liner available) - this has not happened since.

Thats it - minor issues that are easy to resolve.
              Cheers,
              Rob

I have a new one way and sleeve in a packet and compared them to the ones from the 600n, the old one was as much of a perfect fit as the new one - only difference was the one from the heli had Align printed on the sleeve.

Wonder if Robbe UK and Align UK had different batches when they first came out as mine was a Robbe one.

You'll stop wondering once you fly in and just be left with a big grin - if you like the 'e' then you'll love the 'n'.
