Finally grew some tonight and did my first 4 inverted nose in hovers.

On the sim these have been no problem, but translating this into real life has been a real barrier

I cant do them at all really, can flip easily enough, once inverted my brain has a massive far* then results in an order placed at fast lads

    Well done by the way

Same here on Sunday. Tested out my repaired (new frames) Trex 600E yesterday. First 2 batteries were basically getting it trimmed out and gyro tweaked. Third battery started doing some loops, piro stalls and flips plus a little HIGH up inverted. Fourth battery.....
Woweeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Really went for it. A few consecutive flips, BIG loops and then into a half loop to inverted. Told myself, 'come on, you CAN do this'. Locked it into inverted, controlled the orientation and started to drop lower. Did a few slow Piroettes, then looped out. Did the same again and then flew in inverted forwards flight followed by a turn around into a inverted hover. Came closer and LOWER. I finished up 12 to 15 ft above the ground and about 20ft away for my very first 100% controlled inverted hover, both nose in and tail in. Yippeeeeeeeeeeeee. Can't wait for the next time.
One thing that really helped me was the Blue sky and few clouds. I hate it when it is a complete grey sky.
Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
Now too many Helis to mention?

Nice one Daz....its a great feeling...my mate Chuck was doing it last week,he came down to 10ft and when his bottle went he pushed the stick the wrong way and it shot down and as it was so perfectly level the 450 actually bounced just as he corrected the input....i really dont know how in hell he got away with it....the grass was a cm in length and the whole blades were green....left me gobsmacked!
