  • phoenixtech gt-9 gyro, need some help please

    hi all
put a gt9 on my trex 250 couple of weeks ago, mainly as funds were tight and after seeing stefan at zone (which was amazing i must add) using one i thought ill give one a go,
the one problem is, it will hold the tail fine in hovering, circuits anything with a constant head but when you give a sharp throttle input the tail will wag either left or right depending on if its a positive or negative throtle input, if i increese the gain any more than it is it does seem to hold it better but the tail just wags like a dog with a bone in a hover,

any help greatly recieved or gt-9 for sale by end of week if terested lol

What's your tail servo btw? DS420 seems under-powered even for the 250, never got on with that with any gyro. No experience with the GT9 though - have been wondering about it myself, can never quite bring myself to splash out any cash on my semi-retired 250 but that would be the gyro if I did. Unless it's a wagger

Try upping th Head hold gain a touch and the responsiveness, should enable you to hold and drop the gain a touch

How have you mounted the GT9, on a small electric, just one stadard pad will do, no need for the isolation plate
