Only just seen your post. The one I had did work, but not correctly. The cell voltages readings were 0.1V out on two cells and the voltage check function on the first two pins did not work below 4.1V. It would still appear to work, but not correctly. Still better than nothing. The ones from epatchpark have been fine. GiantCod gave me a refund and said there was nothing wrong with it. I wanted the original returned so I could show them what was wrong and post the results. Even if they don't work correctly they are still worth getting. At worst you could end up with a lipo that discharges 0.1V lower than you wanted. Better that than discharging to even lower. I set mine to 3.6V and they are really good. I bought three, but someone at the field was so impressed he bought one of mine.

I put charged packs each in thier own small plastic bag.
Uncharged not in a bag, pretty simple & works for me.

I do use one of the battery voltage monitors though to check packs before each flight, after having a crash due to flying with an uncharged pack once.

I only use the lipo alarm as a audible timer because I keep forgetting to start the timer on my DX7. As I am still only hovering etc I don't have a problem not hearing it if the heli is to high or to far away etc. I use a HK lipo checker to check the cell voltages etc.

I tie loosely the main cables in a knot after use, but I always check the capacity before use. Better to be safe than sorry
