Your glow plug should be lasting longer then that! Perhaps the richness is causing the glow to die. Lean it a little

Have you changed the bearings recently ?? ...or changed to a different fuel to rule that out ?? ... Can't really say on plug life as I just change them and dont take no notice of the time between changes .. Certainly not every gallon

i have put stainless bearings in a while back and i have always run the same fuel,
i have always kept the back plate on the engine cool anough to keep yur finger on it for as long as you like, and had lots of power its the os 55, is he 5 second rule the wa to go ?, also if i go to lean on the mid it almost stalls if i give it some hard pitch and bogs on tick tocks, any leaner on the top and it bogs in long fast turns.

Wierd ... Personally I would strip the engine and clean it out to make sure theres nothing in there that might be able to damage the plug.. The 5 second rule I would certainly ignore with the 55 ... Normally blowing plugs like you are is either bearings, chite somewhere in the engine or its running too lean ... other than those am stumped lol ... Out of interest have you changed to a different rating of plug?? ...say from and no8 to an A3 to try and rule that out

I know diddly-squat about nitro but the "greasy boys" down at my club would say - examine the filament. If it looks as though it has been compressed up into the plug a tad then it points to impact damage! Yeah, tiny bits of metal bombarding it all the time

Any odd engine behaviour like blowing plugs, or difficult to start etc is often (but not always) a sign of bad things going on inside the motor. Take it apart, look at the ring, liner, piston and bearings if I were you.

But was it re-assembled properly? I mean getting the ring in the wrong place or the bearing not seated properly or any other assembly problem could cause it to play up? Just because it's recently been taken apart and put together doesn't rule out innerds problems.
