well after i have done some looking/reading around i have dicided to upgrade my tail on my 700, so i got the kde tail upgrade and WOW what a difference it makes, the tail feel much much better more precise and sharp response quicker feel smoother all in all it makes it feels 100% better, yes i know its a bit expensive but it well worth it if u want ur model to feel good and better. Now for the rest of the fleet.

Oooo.. thats nice.. the ones I got are basically all the bit on the right hand side.. I didnt know they done one with the tail slider aswell..

yea they do but only for the 700 and what u have is just for the 550 and 600Do what u do best

The biggest gripe i have with the tails on Align is getting that nice smooth movement on the links which connect the tail grips to the slider. The smallest amount of locktite anywhere near the brass bush and its take it all apart, clean and then try again. Great when its working, pain in the ass to get it right!Comment

The best way to do the tail links is to sand a small amount from the sides if the 'dog' where the brass bush pushes thought. During the sliding movement, there is a slight 'twist' to the links. This stops the edges binding on the grip arms and slider arms.
Also, when applying the lock tight, don't put it on the screw, but put a drip on a pin, and put it in the threaded hole.
I have built 5 of these tails now, and every one is silky smooth over the whole throw.Henseleit TDR V-Bar x2
