  • Rave 90 or MCPX ?????? serious question honest it is :-)

Ok all I need help (no not that sort of help )

I have a real tough decision ,.....following a coffee at Midland Heli and a chat with Matt I feel i should sell my Rave 90 and buy an MCPX

The Rave imo is the best 90 ever and even another coffee and a chat with Rob (who wanted me to get an avant but I don't need a shelf Queen lol) I still felt the MCPX IS the future ,......

Have I gone barking mad (looks behind and checks for a tail, no were ok ) just consider it you can get a whole MCPX for the cost of a set of 90 tail blades thanks to gate88 ,

You can do super stable 3D inside your microwave and if you Crash it pays you to rebuild it
It piroflips and does chos on its own with no stick inputs from the pilot and its more stable than busterboys v bar equiped t rex 700.

I have put a lot of thought in to this and I wondered if the Mcpx is really a competition model ??? the answer is yes !!!
You have enough money left over to equip the judges and spectators with magnifing glasses so thats it job sorted.

Edders and Rob what do you think how about "Grass Roots" Mcpx stylie ????
What a cost efective starter formula ????

    Input people ?

oh anyone want to swap a beaten to death Mcpx for a Rave ??? ok I will add some cash .

XXXX Rachel 3rd place Grass roots @ park Hall

You could always get a bigger handbag, my misses has a handbag or two that could fit my Rave and 700 at the same time!

Surely there's something wrong with that coffee! It should be where the mcpx buyer is convinced to go for it and buy the Rave instead :-)

Perhaps they are experimenting with different blends and grinds and hopefully someone has noted the results. But to be fair I suppose
it's not easy choosing a coffee that will be effective for someone that already has a Rave, and yours already is FBL with the total G
so nowhere to go as an upgrade path, hence the coffee confusion and going haywire! :-o But at the very least the coffee should
permanently erase all thoughts of the mcpx!

Definitely a 'micky finn' in the coffee when you were there Rachel.
i'm sure they are on individual commission and sales targets for MCPX sales at Midlands.
Heads pop out from the back of the shop when one is mentioned and they are all pumping you to buy.
Mind you, it is good fun.
Been practicing for my 'B' cert with it and have 4 point hovering piro's down to a fine art even in strong wind.

Personally, I think the sensible thing to do is to dump the Rave and go get a Esky Honeybee.

Come on, you know it makes sense
