  • BGD (big grin day)

Had another lesson with Darren at Rapid Rotors today, and yet again came away with a big grin. have been doing inverted figure og 8s, and although scruffy am beginning to get the feel
Just to finish off, I did a couple of inverted backwards circuits, not at all easy, and on a couple of occasions I was glad of the buddy lead when a save was needed
Once again a great couple of hours, and will be practicing ahead of the next lesson.
    Cheers Darren another great afternoon

Nice one Nothing better than when everyhting comes together to give a good day at the field Today I managed 3 flights on the 550, 3 on the 700, 3 on the Tri flying FPV (managed some decent distances), AND I did 3 packs through my Radian Glider (plank which will be for FV shortly ) Happy days

well done Rob. Darren gets some excellent reviews from a few people I know who have been to see him.

Went to Flambirds today did a few with the 700, 600 and 550, only bad point still cannot get the 600 to do anything other than bog down on even light manouvers, bloomin flybarless, sapping all the power.
      All the best
      Tony.

Nice one Rob I been out today as well and managed to do a forced auto with the avant as I blew the plug out ( note to self , make sure its tight next time ) lol....Nearly had a hair raiser with the knight as was coming round fast and the engine nearly died as it went lean ... Got of the collective and sorted it ... Am enjoying the hobby more this year than n e other .. Still can't fly for chit but I have fun doing it lmao

I''ve got a grin like a Cheshire cat, first piro flips at the field and they weren't bad at all. One of the new members Josh 18, nose in and into the circuit without any trouble whatsoever, it was great to watch. Best of all my mates doing well at Park Hall, Dave Paton lying 2nd in the grass roots and Andy Kirby a superb 3rd in the inters. Sun's shining, no wind and just about to go out with the love of my life for a bit of dinner, and I've just watched Dans Baywatch spoof vid.

Tony, are you coming to the flyin?
