Order something from flying hobby and checked it today and got this message.

24-Jun-2011 Hong Kong The item left Hong Kong for its destination on 24-Jun-2011
26-Jun-2011 United Kingdom Arrived and is being processed.
26-Jun-2011 United Kingdom Pending customs inspection.

Does this mean that is gonna sit in customs for a while and then they decide weather i pay import,does it mean that it awaits inspection..

anyone ordered from flying hobby lately??

Yes, it means that it is with Customs where it will stay for up to a week or so while they decide if they are going to charge you or not.

That's what happened to me when I ordered from FH a few months ago

I ended up ringing the carrier who gave me customs number. I then had to fax over proof of payment so they could work out payment due

I have ordered twice from fh first time it sat in customs for about 4-5 days and i got charged 14.50 handling charges on my 700le, and straight here in feb when i ordered my 550 and no charges. however a mate of mine recenly ordered a 550 from there and got stung for 110 pounds but the invoice on the outside of the box had gone missing i think.

You will get a letter if payment is due, if not the goods will arrive.

The trick is to watch the tracking, if it says 'released with charges' then call the local Parcel Force depot and pay or go collect if you want to, saves waiting for the letter to arrive.
