Maidened my CC250 yesterday

Well after building my CC250 and then leaving it in the box for ages i decided to maiden it in my lounge last night.

after setting the gyro gain I was hovering about 30cm from the ground when there was a massive bang!

Feathering shalf is snapped in the middle, blades when everywhere!

On the up side the main gear did not strip

Would have thought saving the main gear was the least of your worries!

Did it snap or was it a screw that came out? Did you fully strip and rebuild it properly in the first place?

Yeah, fully rebuilt it all properly.

It was the actual feathering shaft that failed, the bolts are still in each end
