This is one a few of us are using with the PL8 and other similar chargers :

Rapid Electronics - Electrical & Power > Power Supplies > Bench PSUs

You'll have to spend more though to completely max out the PL8

As Mark says, you wont get a better one for the price.

What do you want with the PL8? Do you want to be able to charge as many batts as you can to the limit of the PL8, if so you will need a £400+ psu like this RS | Power Supplies | Power Supplies, Inverters, DC/DC Converters & Generators | Embedded Power Supplies | Switch Mode - RS High Power 1000 - 3000W, Enclosed |RSP-1500-24 which then makes the Fusion a good choice but Meanwell are a very good brand by all accounts.

I use a smaller one of them as Im happy charging 4 x 6s 5000 packs in 30 mins or so

I use robbe 1000 watt one http://www.fast-lad.co.uk/store/robb...w-p-13887.html, works great. You can make your own one for much less as well, but I am too dumb to be able to
PL8 is amazing charger, does everything and then some more.
BTW: Heliguy offer is for Powerlab8 v1 which is lower wattage than v2 (1000 vs 1300). Other than that I don't know if there are any differences.
Makes sure you buy charging cables v2 tho, with 2 fuses, not one. 1 fuse one has been recalled afaik.
