tail trouble on a 450 sport

can anyone give me some advise on how to sort the tail on my sport as it driving me mad ,i got a wag that wont go away i taken the tail apart at least 5 times now and it is silky smooth, i got a mini g and paired it with a savox 0257 tail servo, it a gentle wag ,but when you put a iput in it moves and then starts to wag again, i tried to change the gain nothing,i now put the balllink on the inner most hole ,and i changed the setting on the mini g from fast to very fast and normal,so can anyone help before the hammer is brought out

Do you have any play in the tail?

try taking of tail linkage rod then turning the rudder by hand and check it is super smooth, i used a piece of fine wire wool to clean up the shaft then clean of the wool really well.then added a drop of light grease to it. found it stops tail wag
