If all is fine, I would say it's a fair price.

Fast lads had a raptor 50 with engine and pipe for less than £300. Ok the raptor might not be top draw anymore, but it's still a good beginners heli. The raptor is also like the ford escort, every one knows how to set them up, and diagnose faults. This would be my choice for a beginner.

Looks like a fair deal. Being new to this hobby make sure you budget for everything you need fella. I am not posting this to try and scare you or anyone new, but to ensure you dont fall into the trap which i expect many others have, and then become totally disheartend by it all..

£250 will get you the heli etc.. On top of that according to the advert you will need to add a Gyro and Receiver. 2nd hand you are looking at at least £50 for basic ones.

On top of that you will need all the bits to start it, possibly a few tools etc. Then there's the Radio. A 1/2 decent one 2nd hand (DX7) will set you back about £100-120. Club membership and BMFA are almost essential to learn to fly safe and at a good pace.

Just make sure you have taken all this into consideration, if you have already then you are approaching this hobby in the correct way mate.

Again, i am not trying to scare monger, but make sure you and others in the same position know what they are getting into.

I wouldn't get hung up on missing out anything from ebay its a lottery whether what you buy is actually what is described. Buy from here or bmfa if you can is my advice, I have been stung on ebay a few times, like buying an rc nitro car stated as new unused but sent with fuel in the tank and the engine flooded with fuel.

The machine looks good mate and he's cerainly spent some dollar replacing all the stock parts. Presumably you've got the necessary transmiiter and receiver? If yes, I'd say bang an OS 50Hyper engine in £175 Midland Helicopters Ltd Engines_Os and a decent giro, the GT9 from Phoenixtech, it's only £40 and is fantastic value and works like a charm The New Phoenixtech GT9 - Promotion price after that you'll be good to go I think mate.
                          Happy flying!

Fitting the parts isn't the problem mate, it's programming the sod, that's the trick. If you wanted/ needed, I could help you install the hardware cos you don't live too far away.
