How long have you been without spending any money on heli stuff?

I dont crash that often as i dont push myself so the last spares i had to buy was around 3 months ago...
i had a slight smash with my 450 sport a few days ago & was hoping to get up & see Fast Lads New shop...
but when i started to re build it had all the parts to get it back in the air so didnt even have to spend out then...

My expenses have come down to near zero. I consider myself a carefull flyer (careful but still push myself but not recklessly). My money goes on 6s packs for the logo every now & then. I do however have to order some gaui parts as i crashed it (sorry IT crashed itself as the tail rod popped off so i'll be sorting that so it wont happen again) & i want to convert it back to belt as i HATE torque tubes with a passion!!!!

I was really surprised at myself as I usually like trying new bits even if things are not broken- tempted to play with a V Bar next- new helis are obvious on the shelf- anything that makes them work however is not obvious

i dont spend a penny of my household income, so i am safe from the wife

although i have an almost weekly delivery of parts these are for customers models, i am very lucky in that the money i earn from building, repairing and instructing customers covers the expense of keeping my own models in the air
my fixed wing are all petrol and so require little maintenance and the fuel is cheaper

and the helis havent needed anything for a while, but that may change when the bl@@dy weather improves and they can actually be flown

I have spent quite a lot recently and I kind of regret it, because I have flown the heli I bought only 3 times thanks to weather.. not getting anything out of my investment
