  • Banana plugs and sockets, good ones to take high amps?

Right so I have just tested my 2 Voltz 15v PSU's in series and they supply a nice clean 30v connected up like this

So I'm after now some cables to connect them together and then to my PL8. I am probably going to put them in a case eventually so I'll need some 4mm banana sockets as well. The thing is I want good ones that can cope with 30v @ 23a constantly without melting. So I'm having trouble. Anyone know where I can get them?

Yeah I looked and they didn't seem to state a rating for them. I'm only round the corner from one so gonna pop in at lunch.

In the absence of a personal recommendation for something more at hand, I'd hit RS. Reassuringly expensive Certainly no end of specifications there..

I used some of the cheap ones from maplin to make a 3 way splitter and they melted they are only rated at 16A,
I have found These that are rated at 36A but I havent tried any as I dont use a splitter any more, they do look much better quality
