Hi all I posted here a few weeks ago that the old indoor flying facility down at Newark Showground had been superceded by the establishment of a new club.
Well we've just reached another milestone it what has so far been a sucessful launch.
In summary we:
Membership is £20 per year and its £5 per night to fly (our rents are expensive)
To become a member of the club you must also join the BMFA, which you can do through us
Membership fee is payable on your third visit and new members enjoy free BMFA insurance cover for three visits.
I think that covers everything although I would like to thank the hard work of our secretary Graham Brown who has done a lot behind the scenes to help with the project. E-mail if you want more details

In summary we:
- Are primarily an indoor club - but have use of outdoor facilities (if that makes sense)
- Are all, in the main, members of other "outdoor" flying clubs but use the indoor to meet socially
- Fly on a Tuesday night every week, somewhere
- Fly helis (to 450 size) and small electric planes
- Welcome and train learners - we have training aircraft
- Are a fully Affiliated Member of the BMFA and as such properly constituted
