Its p1ssing me off now... had a few hours at the field to get a few tanks through the Velo but again I am stuck with problems and didnt fly.. I don't know why but the engine now wants to run stupidly lean.. to the point that there's hardly any smoke, even at super rich at 2 1/4 turns out on both needles when I should be running leaner in todays weather! Also.. I think the bearings are f*cked in my Align super starter.. is there a way to replace them without buying the whole wand?
I did notice one thing though.. when the engine cuts.. you can see the fuel get sucked back through the line to the engine? Is this a indication of anything?? Nothing has changed from its last outting apart from the pipe and I dont know how its had so much of an impact... I didnt have this much trouble with my first 3 needle carb when I knew nothing about them!
I guess I will be spending more time sorting it out tonight
.. any more problems and that b4stards going for a Align. lol!
