Gee Dee Model Shop any experience?

Well after purchasing a second hand tarot 450 pro i decided to buy 3 savox SH-0257 digital servos, so i ordered them on tuesday and paid 3quid for delivery, and they are still not here, waiting for them to continue my build. lol so ordered ds520 servo from fast lads and frame screw set from wings wheels and rotors on tuesday evening with 1.50 postage HALF THE PRICE, they were here wednesday morning. now why cant gee dee do the same.lol

Never dealt with them on mail order only been into the shop to buy the odd item. Give them a call, I'm sure they will be only too happy to sort out the problem.

Seriously like Im going to have to ring them after work tomorrow its been 8 days since i ordered, i would be quicker getting post from china, emailed them last night when i got home from work too late to ring, got no reply. If not here by tomorrow after work im calling for refund, ridiculous keeping me behind on the build.

Been in this shop a few times its not the place I'd place online orders with it excels more in air fix then flying models give them a bell .

jus cant justify getting fastlad order the next day at half the postage cost of gee dee and fast lad order was later than gee dee, never again am i ordering of them.lol going to ring them tomorrow after work, hoping its here tomorrow cause I cant wait any longer

It depends on their postal service they use , fast lad may have royal mail come everyday and collect huge amounts of packages, also they would have the items in stock ready to go being so good with the flight Market , gee dee I guess would have ordered the servos in to fulfil your order once they have a confirmed order . No point in keeping items in stock they don't sell that much , so that would add 2 - 3 days as Cml are not the best in getting items out, and remember royal snail quote 3-5 working days for first class , we have this problem all the time where I am , on the flop side I waited 7 working days for some bits from fast lad to turn up , not their fault it's the postal service

Gee Dees are a great hobby shop but as some one else said more into railways and plastic kits, I used to go in there a lot in my older planking days and always found a helpfull face, But I also woudnt consider them for mail order its just not what they are best at

One of my customers ordered 10x 0257 savox servos for one of these new mig 29's from banana hobby we did not have them in stock this was Monday, today they turned up at the shop and he collected all happy even got a bulk discount

With mail order go for companies that have a good website , good range of stock or atleast stock estimations like fast lad traffic light stem

Feck I'm confused.lol after waiting for ten days now and call them yesterday they said that they only arrived yesterday and will be dispatched today. So just checked my email there now and this was sent to me at 7.20am

yea basically lying and couldnt even respond to my emails a few days ago. im ****ed about it because i could have went sumwere else which i did but i needed them asap about 10days ago, but i just ordered them this evening off aerobuddiesRC i phoned them to see if they have them in stock, which they did but they were too busy to talk as the shop was busy, but I didnt mind as I was going to order online anyway. But so far great customer service from them as they rang me back and apoligised that they were busy with customers in store. pretty decent bloke... but will see when the servos arrive.lol

Shame that you were not contacted about your order, I know they have moved the Rc section upstairs last time I was in nottingham .

I know this must be frustrating as you wanted them in a normal time
