Single cell lipo's life

Ok,so i see alot of reports on single cell life being pants on the micro heli's so the other week i flew my blade 120 sr till the the low voltage kicked in and it landed by its self...i took the lipo and charged it on my hyperion duo to find it was at 4% when charge started.

So i have come to the conclusion that the lipos are not rubbish,they just need tlc and dont like being abused.I have always set the timer to 4 mins on all my micro fleet and i do get plenty of cycles apart from my original mcx when it came out where i flew it till LV cut off and they never lasted that long doing that.

So,look after them single cells,don't wait for it to land itself

So i flew my mcpx for 5.50 seconds last night,landed before the lv cut off and popped the lipo on my hyperion charger and there was only 10% left.so if anyone is flying till they cut off i feel you are killing your lipo's.5 mins will leave 20% in them.

will stick with 4 mins myself

Same stuff which is in the bigger lipos but are just abused more by most as they are cheap - hence why people say they don't last long..

I don't mind having an extra 30 secs or so if I have to buy a 3 quid lipo 30 cycles sooner . I get around 4:30 3D on my mCPX but I think I'm going slightly past 20%, then again the mCPX charger doesn't charge fully anyway...

I don't fully charge mine either. I use 2C and stop when the charge gets slow. Ends up at about 4.17. The less you take out the quicker they charge as well.
