Charging a JR 11x?

Right I've just had my 11x delivery and opened the box to find no charger. I suspect I've ordered just the TX and RX only but without the charger, RX battery, and switch gear. I didn't think the charger would be missing though.

Anyway I have a spare DX8 charger, will this work? The DX8 one is just a 12v PSU I think

I believe the combo should still include a charger but i'll stand corrected - it certainly did for all the others i've brought. JR and Spectum use the same charging outputs, its Futaba that are the reverse and should never swapped or plugged in to a JR.

DONT USE A DX8 CHARGER !!! you can use a dx7 slow charger or you can fast charge only buy removing the batt and make a charge adaptor

also inwoods sell the jr slow charger

I've dropped inwoods a mail as I got the TX from them and I expected there to be a charger with it. I think I can use my Graupner to do it as it has a JR plug on the multi cable but no idea how to configure the charger yet.

pointless as i did the same and i gather you brought the radio only ? if yes then all you get is the radio !! sorry mate
also you cannot fast charge it through the port as it will blow the inline diode up and then you will need to send for repair !!

Yeah I bought it as TX+RX and didn't realise that meant excluding the charger. They're sending me one post free so got that sorted. If I'd known before I would have added it in in the first place. Live and learn.

well thats ok then as they sent me a fast charge lead they made up for me FOC

as long as the dx7 charger isnt an early 50ma you should be ok

Ok so I've got a normal mode for the MCPx in, just been out and by god I've lost he basic tail in I thought but it came back to me slowly and hovered the full battery before it got dark. Then it's just dawned on me... I've got dr at 100% and no expo. having said that, you know it still felt nicely locked in.

when i bought my DX7 it didn't come with a charger, and felt a bit aggreived by paying £180 and not getting a £8 charger. A bit tight IMO.

not if you buy a TX only deal or TX and RX only deal but you do get one if you buy the full retail combo kit
its really not an issue as you can buy the jr charger or use a dx7 charger or remove the pack to fast charge
