  • Align 3g & quk swash help

Hi all ive just fitted a align 3g head on my 600nsp but i cant seem to use the quk swash because these a lot thinner then the stock swash which means the linkage rods from the blade grips to the swash wont fit as these are bigger then the align ones
does any one know if there is a way round this to use the quk swash
    regards jason

No, if I were you I wouldn't fly it. The main links from the swash to the blade grips will be forced off. Just run the cyclic stick round and you'll see what I mean. Buy the updated Align swash and you'll be fine. Otherwise you'd have to find a ball and link that will fit. Does the quick UK rocket ball links and balls fit, maybe

I had the same problem & used 2 ball from a T-Rex 700 with washers behind them to give the correct length

i have a pack of 700 balls which i take it are the same size as the two balls that come with the 3g kit , so if i space them out a bit to clear the side of the swash then this would work fine

Yes the 700 balls are the same size as the 3G, I have been flying mine with no problems

You can send the old type of QUK swash to Budd (QUK) and they can convert it to the new FBL type ~ can't remember the exact cost but it's approximately £20.
