Well I started it up and everything went to plan. Im going to have a bit of a hover this evening after work.

Ive decided to start from scratch and tune it myself, so I can understand the process of tuning an engine more. All in all Im very happy that ive swapped from electric to nitro.

I am going to get a better starter which has a fixed starter on it as the one ive got keeps coming out of the rubber insert and it cut my bloody finger.

Yeah I had the aero type starter in the beginning with the start wand that jams into the cup. It worked OK as long as it was aligned
well and jammed right down in there. But at the time I only had a Raptor 30.

If the 55 behaves like the OS50 Hyper, what I do with mine is when I'm ready to start it I unclamp the fuel line and open the throttle
quite high, maybe 3/4 stick, then holding my finger in the exhaust (or you could put the exhaust bung back in) crank the starter just
a couple seconds and you should see fuel going into the carb (note; do not have the glow lighter connected yet!).

Then I bring the stick all the way down and using the trim I set an idle throttle position. Then connect the glow stick and when you
crank the starter it should start imediately. This works for all the OS50s I own.

If your going to get a new starter, I would recommend a K&S starter from fastlads. I had a cheap started. And I ended up melting the parts inside (I don't know how). So I upgraded to a K&S one. Starts my heli everytime.
