as title says, tx choices up to £250, what are there,

    ive found so far...

DX8 for £210 on its own
    DX7S for £220 with ar8000 when released
    DX7 used.... somewhere...
Futaba 8fg for £250 with no rx, so £300 in total and cant stretch to it.

are there any others to look at?

the reason I ask is the more I use phoenix, and use the dx6, the more uncomfortable it feels, I will go and have a hold of the dx8, or one at the club, have held a dx7, but are there any other tx's that are good.

also with the dx7s or the dx8, (forgetting the problems at the moment) can you still use dsm2 rx's with them? like my ar6200?

    cheers chaps
    Kev

The 8FG feels terrible in your hands imo. Great functionality, but feels terrible.

DX7 is a top radio imo.

My thoughts exactly, Kev. You'l love it.

Yes, it is a tad heavy but somehow, it just feels RIGHT.

The touch, the feel, the curves, the grasp... oh! I could go on... :P

                          DX7 or DSX9 .

You can use the DSM2 RXs with them, the DX8 for sure anyway.

Just have to disagree. My 8FG feels very different to my 12FG but a few flights and it's going to be natural .. already getting used to it.

Dx8 for me. Works with DSM2 as well as DSMX RX's lots of memories and even from a beginners perspective it's easy to use and set-up.
