The brackets you mention I have fitted - BUT - firstly they are fitted to the mechanics 'behind' the swash plate - my problem is at the 'front' of the swash AND secondly the brkts are on rubber spacer blocks, so they only provide 'soft' support.
OK, that is a bit odd then.

The picture I'm looking at in the instructions from the website seem to show the brackets mounting in front of the swash and close to the leading edge of the fuselage where it would join to the nose section. They don't look to be rubber mounted either so perhaps that is a change in the kit?

I see now, that really is way too far forward compared to the pictures in the instructions. (unless the kit and the instructions have changed?)

May not be related, but is the tail drive a belt or torque tube?

Actually, thinking about it and your earlier comment about the instructions that came with it being for a 600ESP I think that is the issue.

The fuselage you have there is not intended for a 600E, the 600ESP has the swash rotated 180 degrees so it has a single link at the front which would seem to be more likely to fit and the two links at the back.

Mark - if you go to the RC Aerodyne web site and look at the bumpf attached to this fuselage - it clearly says they have successfully fitted to a 600 E. However, having looked more closely at some of the instruction pictures and bearing in mind the configuration of an ESP swashplate, I am beginning to think you have found the answer.

How easy would it be to convert from E swashplate to ESP swashplate ??

Unfortunately it's not possible without changing the side frames for the ESP ones because the servo mounting holes are located differently to the E version and as stated earlier, the ESP dosen't have an anti rotation bracket either so the lever system on the ESP would also require the ESP side frames.

Did the heli and fuselage come together or did you get the fuselage direct from RC Aerodyne?

If the latter then I'd be having words with them I think as what you have got there is not what they are advertising.
