New Spektrum DX7S?

Yes, very true. You also don't need to go and buy a separate neck strap balancer with the new one. How anyone can prefer the look of the old DX7 is beyond me. It looks like it was designed about 10 years ago (probably because it was -isn't it a case from an old JR radio?)

I much prefer the look and feel of the DX7, JR make great radios - just a little pricey hence why I got a Spektrum DX7 (best purchase in this hobby for me).

Personally I'm more concerned have they learned enough yet from dx8 issues, from pots especially.

Perhaps they've decided to rebadge a load of DX8s that they're having trouble selling.
Knock a few switches off and cash in on the good name of the previous DX7.
All they have to do now is figure out why the DX8 is so bad and fix it before the DX7S gets the same reputation.

i owned a dx6i for around a year with no faults but when i wanted to upgred the dx7 was discontinued and all the problems with th dx8 put me right off so as stated previously i when and got the JR XG7 , i like it it feels nice and it will manage all i can.
