450 size heli case foam insert.

Does anyone know where to get a foam insert for a 450 size heli case either pick and pluck on just needs cutting.

please let me know.

You can get the foam from anywhere.. ebays a place to try or furniture places.. I go for the solid blocks and cut them to size.. I just prefer it that way

I was looking for some the other week I just googled it 'foam cut to size' and found loads of sites some you can input your size on the website and get an instant quote.

No links, as it was ages ago when I ordered some and checking back on my Ebay history, they dont sell foam anymore.. just google like BiG-T and loads do come up and the price around £15+ is right... even at £15.. it still saves you £15 from buying a new case!

eFoam, all sorts of foam: foam sheets pre-cut offers sheets in various grades & sizes. Still not massively cheap, though.

1, is it worth getting?
2, if so, what's the best type?

I've seen different types at varying prices. Is the difference in quality enough to justify the price or are they all pretty much of a muchness??

I use this one for my TT360 450 size helicopter CASE

I had to cut the foam a bit as the TT360 is bigger than a 450 but the case is plenty study enough for me. Has 4 slots for lipos, 6 for tools, a hole for holding your TX and some other slots you can pull out for stuff.
