Well this week saw all 3 of my models ready for the big test
Trex 600N Pro
Knight 3D
Raptor 50 (Kasama head, QUK tail and a load of other upgrades)
My plan is to fly them all back to back, I have flown the Trex 600N and Raptor back to back before on a few occasions and initially felt the Raptor had the edge slightly but I believe that could be because I have had a year more stick time with it and felt more comfortable with it, since then I have done a lot of tweaking in the Trex 600N
I have also had the Trex 600N and Knight3D back to back before, it was the first time with the Knight 3D and felt it was flying really good, I then flu the Trex 600N I thought that flu better but when I went back to the Knight 3D straight afterwards I was undecided again as the Knight was surprising me so much I almost caught the tail in a level tic toc.
I did originally have too much cyclic and collective set up on the Knight so that did not help on first impressions.
My plan now is to fly the Trex600 then Raptor then Knight 3D and try to pick a 1st, 2nd, 3rd in my eyes. They all have different great points, the Knight 3D and my Raptor are on 8.7 ratio compared to the Trex 8.5 ratio, the Trex and my Raptor look better than the Knight at the moment but I believe that is about to change when the new Knight canopy arrive, so it is going to be tough one to call out.
Ade your more than welcome to give me hand if you like, I am just trying to find the perfect day to do it on, I don't mind the overcast but I want very little wind.
