Even though injured, he has a great attitude, but I'm not sure I would have remembered to photograph the injury before heading to the emergency room.

Let's hope he is back in action soon.

That sux :-( Where does he live anyway? He mentions going to the burn center in Galveston, so I assume he must live somewhere in that part of the USA.

Curtis is from Collage Fields Texas.

        Those burns look really bad
He is flying at the 3D masters soon so I hop he heals quick .

I think with his left hand he just fly pitch though so hopefully that will help.

        Speedy recovery to you Curtis

Galveston is an island on the Gulf coast of Texas, about 35 miles south east of Houston. (I used to live in League City, TX. halfway between Galveston and Houston).

Galveston is also a dump, despite the country-and-western song about it.

Ouch, not good to hear but a real life warning about the dangers involved with the lipos we use.

I wish Curtis a full and speedy recovery from his injuries, but he'll still fly to his usual high standard I am sure.

He did well to limit the burns tbh, it could have been a LOT worse, I really hope he recovers well and that any scarring does not mess up his flying skills.
