  • Identify this heli!

We had a guy down at our club today who has been given an old heli. I said I'd post it here and see if anyone can anyone identify it? It has some stickers saying 'Maverick' on the canopy and boom if that's anything to go by and it appears to have an OS46 engine of some description. It certainly looks like it's sat around unused for quite a few years, with a good bit of rust/dirt on the links etc. As far as I could tell from the brief look I had, it has all the electronics installed, and an old JR computer radio. No idea if it's all in working order and the airframe would clearly need a LOT of work/restoration to get it in the air.

So.... What is it? Is it worth anything? Is anyone interested in buying it?

Yep, Morley Maverick, my first heli.
I think Quick UK joined up with them in some format many years ago.
Always overheated the engine, tried all sorts of cooling shrouds with no effect.
I think I've still got some of the shrouds in the workshop if anyone wants them.
3 or 4 minutes into the flight and it sagged to the ground.
Got me started in helis though so 'Thank You Morley Maverick' best thing I ever did buying one.
