Hi, with the weather over the last month (sore subject i no) i've only had 3 flights with my new toy (night3d) i've been able to do plenty of setting up hovering in the garden though and at the moment i've not got a governor installed i've set idle up throttle curve at 100/75/50/75/100 and all seems well but this is my 1st nitro so not really sure if that's ok? i've got the mixture bang on and it pulls sweet but should i fit my governor, its a gv1 futaba and i've only got a 6ch tx at the mo (futaba 2.4gz) and was told i could set it up manually without the need for a 7th channel but have not got round to reading the destruct ions or fitting it, i'm only doing mild sports flying (rolls and loops) although i can manage a pie dish and inverted hover and tick tock's with my 450's and would like to stick my night3d into these so will i be ok or should i bang the gv1 in and if so is it a sod to set up cus i've not got a bloody clue about governers lol.

I have a GV1 ftted to my Rappy 30, and I have found it hard to set up, (not experienced in playing with the radio) it works as a Governor OK. but I cant get the throttle hold or Engine cut to work.
Still works other than that
