After the last 10 months or so I have not crashed once on the 450 or 500, sods law is it's a blown esc that's the cause of the crash on my 500, just in the middle of a stall turn just pass the top when I went to rotate the tail and no power to the motor.

Ended up coming down inverted falling onto her side, prob could have got her down if I had practiced my autos, but the no power bit just dumb thumbed me until she went in.

Usual damage as well as the esc but tail is fine, sods law is I have had a new scorpion esc for the last 6 months but not had time to fit it (I will have time now, note to self, must fit new bits before next flight and not leave in the box for 6 months)

Big thanks to the guys at purfleet Heli club as they have been a great help in my flying and laughing when I crash, cheers guys

Ron, as Tony said a few weeks ago if your not crashing then your not trying hard enough, that's my plan this year is to try out new things and pass my test so I can fly with the big boys

I was pushing my luck with both the 500 and the 450 and nearly lost the 450 a couple of times (shake that leg!) but I need to start pushing myself alot more in order to progress onwards.

I have even half stopped thinking about what to do and now just do it, flying is getting smoother and less nerves the more flights I get in, that's why I thought I would do my 1st stall turn with the 500.

Ok it didn't end to well, but I know it's part of learning to fly and even not having crashed for ages I know it's all part of the hobby
