Align Trex 600le or Velocity 50?

Velocity 50 flys better cheaper parts and overall a far better model and yes I have had both and still have the velocity 50 :0)

Got to be a Velo. Only concern would be availablity of parts. Trex are proven heli's, 600 can be spanked with a 55 but the Velo is a prettier heli.

I have to say the Velo looks loads better.... and its no so 'common' but can take a little fettling to get it spot on...

I have both, LE55 and the Velo55..... velo is deffo more responsive, really quick, parts are competitive too, trex solid heli, does all the right things, not so cheap spares, common as....... I'd go for the Velo if u wana rock oh and does awsome autos

I went for the 600 because it is a very easy going heli. The kits are always complete, nothing needs upgrading, everything goes together as easily as lego, and it is reliable.

It might not fly as straight as a Velocity 50 (from what I am told), but if I could only have one heli from my fleet, it would be that. It is the only one I dare try new moves on, and not only because of crash costs.

No issue with parts availability. More online shops will sell them very soon.

Not only is the parts slightly cheaper, heli flies straight and is more agile. It looks 1000 times better.

I voted velocity 50, I don't have one but I am half way through building a Fusion 50 and the kit is lovely.

Everything is precise, well machined and it is just going together - somewhat different from the last align kit I built.

So based on kit quality only - get the velocity.

Nothing wrong with a 600 at all but the Velocity is just better in almost every aspect.

I dont necassarily agree, my Velocity flew straight out of the box with everything set at 90 degrees & the linkage lengths straight out of the manual, I havent had to make a single adjustment anywhere yet. I probably did more tweaking on my MCX when I brought it!

Have to dissagree with you guy I've been having a mare with my velocity since buying it second hand & the latest thing to break is the clutch shoes one way bearing. My velocity flies better than my 600 did but owning it is a nightmare. Sure shafts are cheeper but have a look at the not so common items. I have had alsorts of vibration issues since day one the starter shaft also rounded out & I could only buy from one outlet which im told is being sorted soon.
I would say if your barely competent at building helis & wish to buy new then the 600 is the one to get.
If your after a very agile mega 3d machine & you dont mind the more difficult build then buy a velo it does fly better.

Velo 50, I'll always keep one, I have two but the nightflying one is up for sale as an airframe cheap (shameless plug). Had a Trex for years it was fine nothing wrong with it, but Velo 50s crash better(cost), fly better (more agile, lighter and programmable head), I think they look better too. I think the Velo can swing bigger blades 630mm not sure if the Rex can, never tried that on a 600.
