Could be your throttle curve settings

What Radio are you using and what pitch & throttle curves have you got set

Obvious place to look would be throttle curve. However, it could be indicative of a failing ESC...just to be aware. I've had something similar happen with a damaged ESC before.

        I have Just Changed the tx and rx to a dx7 and a ar 6110e the Thro curve is L 0.0 % 1 INH 2 50.00% 3 INH H 100.%. and the Pitch is L 20.00% 1 29.5% 2 34.0% 3 46.5% H 100.0%

That throttle curve is certainly pretty low for an electric heli. Something more like 0,INH,85,INH,100 would be more suitable. You can even go all the way up to 100% on the mid point with an electric heli. Hard to say with your pitch curve because it does depend on the mechanical setup of the heli but the first thing I'd try is bumping up that throttle curve and see how you get on.

I have just put the settings in the tx and no difference also when at full stick and the motor slows there is a buzzing coming from the esc i think and the motor is getting very hot hope that helps

if you got a manual for it look for esc settings most of them have to be in high position to start the setting for throttle positioning after a couple of bleeps pull stick fully down and that should be set if its getting realy hot then esc is no good

is it possible you have something either binding (ie a bearing at high speed?) or something similar, causing friction at high speed? Certainly sounds like an ESC problem to me, but if the motor is getting very hot, it might be that something is causing it to bind. Have you checked your gear mesh? Are all the screws tight on the motor? Could it be slipping/climbing up the gear?
