New maneuver iv been working at

Hi all been playing on the old sim sim and i have mastered the death spiral and i have been messing around, i have been taking the heli up high go to throttle hold then go into a death spiral and pull out at the last min and land safely i call it AUTO OF DEATH.
sometimes it goes waaaaaaaaaay wrong and i lose my head speed to quick at the end when pulling out but it is fun


Now is a known maneuver or have i created a new one??

On the sim i will, god damn i wont even try just the death spiral on my heli never mind the full thing

I found sim practise helped me alot,
got to the point of when I was flying for real told myself,, you can do it on the sim so "just do it" stayed nice and high for the first try's of each manover,
You soon realise if you have the sim setup well it feels the same and once you've crossed that mental barrier of doing it for real it becomes easier,

You can get 1 or maybe 2 revolutions out of a heli on a autoing death spiral for real, can show you at MK if you like:-)

Which sim, Realflight allows impossible auto's, Phoenix 1.04 is much more true to life.

Its on reflex i sent back my phoenix, BOB yeah show us on yours tomorrow my poor 50 would not handle the Gs

I was thinking it would be a bad idea all he way to the floor as you've got no air going through the blades to keep the headspeed up...

Can't wait to see Bob do a couple of rotations though

Yep I did mean on one of my models, not tried it for a month or so and only done it with the Synergy so far.
Not something to try with a 450 SE I think:-)
