  • Hmmm, align manual link lengths

I know they are just a guide, but I have my servos bang on 90,yet the elev and pitch links make the swash a mile out, they ended up being 4 to 6 full twist out, are everybodys like this, like I say, I know it is just a guide

Lol, Nah not tonight, all sorted now though, got +10 -3 on normal mode and +10 -10 on idle up, will -3 be enough

I have -4 in normal but I guess -3 will do just as well. Get it flown now

The -3 isn't critical. You can land from idleup. It just limits the downforce if you have a panic and shut the throttle. Could be 0 if you want. I found gentle landings very difficult.

In Normal I use -4 but -3 will be ok - as long as you've got some negative before the power goes off.

Personally I set a curve in normal mode ie -4 bottom stick +4 centre stick +12 top stick

BUT at 3/4 stick there's only 7 degrees positive - softens out the hover point. Other modes set a straight lines Iu1 -7 to +13 Iu2 -13 to +13

I can change to -4 its no biggy,

What's peoples throttle curves like at the momebt its a flat curve on normal, in iu its 100 95 90 95 100,

Anybody run a bottle curve in normal of 0 40 50 75 100 as I'm sure that's what I ran before, so you can switch into iu at mid stick with no change of headspeed

A trick I do when setting up is to set the Hold pitch curve to -100 0 0 0 100 so you don't have to have the stick exactly centred to get "centre stick". Just remember to put it back to normal once you're ready to fly!

Your normal thr curve needs to be a flat diagonal line. I'd go with 0 25 50 75 100 in normal, then 100 95 90 95 100 in idle up.

+1 there, i always set a zero pitch curve on tx for setting up.
